Te presentamos la AZUCENA mid jacket, una prenda que pertenece a nuestro Volumen II: “From the End of the World”, lanzado en 2019. Hoy la reeditamos en una versión más consciente, confeccionada con piel vegetal de cactus (nopal), reafirmando nuestra búsqueda por una moda ética, sustentable y sin crueldad animal.
Sobre Desserto® – Piel de Nopal:
Proveniente de una plantación en Zacatecas, México, el nopal se cultiva sin herbicidas ni pesticidas, utilizando solo agua de lluvia. Las hojas maduras se cortan sin dañar la planta y se cosechan cada 6–8 meses. El sobrante se destina al consumo humano a nivel nacional. Las hojas se secan al sol durante tres días, sin uso de hornos ni energía adicional. Así se obtiene una materia prima orgánica gracias a la fórmula patentada Desserto.
Este volumen revaloriza los textiles y diseños que Guido Vera comenzó a explorar en 2016, consolidándolos como statement pieces de la firma en esta nueva era.

Introducing the AZUCENA mid jacket, a piece from Volume II: “From the End of the World”, first released in 2019. Now reimagined in a more conscious version, crafted with plant-based cactus leather, it reflects our ongoing mission to create ethical, sustainable, and cruelty-free fashion.
About Desserto® – Cactus Leather:
Harvested in Zacatecas, Mexico, the cactus is grown without herbicides or pesticides, using only rainwater. Only the mature leaves are cut without harming the plant, and the rest is sold for human consumption across Mexico. The leaves are sun-dried for three days, with no need for ovens or additional energy. The result is a certified organic raw material made using the patented Desserto formula.
This volume honors the textiles and silhouettes that Guido Vera began developing in 2016—now reshaped as signature statements for a new beginning.
