Te reintroducimos nuestro CHOZA blazer, que comenzó en el volumen II "From the end of the world" hecho en cuero vinílico no animal biodegradable. Ahora elevamos la propuesta al desarrollar nuevamente esta pieza (también presente en el volumen III "En tránsito") pero en cuero vegetal, específicamente cuero de cactus (nopal) exportado de Guadalajara, México. Este CHOZA blazer es sin duda un statement piece de la firma Guido Vera, fiel a su compromiso desde 2016 de promover moda sustentable, no animal y libre de género.

Acerca de Desserto - Piel de nopal:

La plantación de donde se extrae el nopal está en Zacatecas, región centro-norte de México. Allí seleccionan y cortan sólo hojas maduras sin dañar la planta, permitiendo cosechas cada seis u ocho meses, libre de herbicidas y pesticidas. El material no utilizado se destina al consumo humano.

El cactus crece únicamente con agua de lluvia, soporta bajas temperaturas y tiene espinas pequeñas, facilitando la cosecha segura.

Las hojas maduras se secan al sol durante tres días sin uso de energía adicional, obteniéndose la materia prima orgánica con la fórmula patentada Desserto.

CHOZA BLAZER - CACTUS LEATHER

We reintroduce our CHOZA blazer, initially developed in Volume II "From the end of the world" in biodegradable non-animal vinyl leather. Now we elevate this proposal by recreating it (also present in Volume III "En tránsito") in plant-based leather, specifically cactus leather (nopal) imported from Guadalajara, Mexico. This CHOZA blazer is undoubtedly a statement piece from Guido Vera, faithful to its commitment since 2016 to pursue sustainable, animal-free, and genderless fashion.

About Desserto - Nopal Leather:

The plantation where the nopal is harvested is located in Zacatecas, in north-central Mexico. Only mature leaves are selected and cut without damaging the plant, allowing harvests every six to eight months, free of herbicides and pesticides. Unused material is sold for human consumption.

The cactus grows solely on rainwater, tolerates cold winters, and has smaller spines, making harvesting safer and easier.

Mature leaves are sun-dried for three days without additional energy use, producing the organic raw material with the patented Desserto formula.
