Te presentamos este increíble y nuevo accesorio del VOL IV Micromundos. Inspirados en los gauchos de la región de Magallanes. Esta pieza es una interpretacion contemporanea de un accesorio clave en la vestimenta de los primeros colonos occidentales y está hecho con piel de cactus. 

Acerca de Desserto - Piel de nopal:

La plantación de la que extraen el nopal para sus productos se encuentra en el estado de Zacatecas, en la región centro norte del país. Allí seleccionan y cortan solo las hojas maduras de la planta sin dañarla, con lo que aproximadamente cada seis u ocho meses vuelven a cosechar en la misma plantación, libre de herbicidas y pesticidas. El material que no se utiliza para el producto es vendido para consumo humano a nivel nacional.

El cactus crece solo con el agua de lluvia, además esta familia soporta las bajas temperaturas durante el invierno y tiene espinas más pequeñas, por lo que es más fácil y seguro a la hora de cosechar.

Después de cortar las hojas maduras, estas se secan al sol durante tres días hasta alcanzar los niveles de humedad deseados. No es necesario ningún horno ni ningún tipo de energía adicional, como el gas, en este proceso. Una vez procesada, se obtiene la materia prima orgánica con la fórmula patentada, Desserto.

We present you this incredible and new accessory of VOL IV Micromundos. Inspired by the gauchos of the Magallanes region. This piece is a contemporary interpretation of a key accessory in the clothing of the first western settlers and is made with cactus skin.

About Desserto - Nopal Skin:

The plantation from which they extract the nopal for their products is located in the state of Zacatecas, in the north-central region of the country. There they select and cut only the mature leaves of the plant without damaging it, so that they harvest again approximately every six or eight months in the same plantation, free of herbicides and pesticides. The material that is not used for the product is sold for human consumption at a national level.

The cactus grows only with rainwater, this family also supports low temperatures during winter and has smaller thorns, making it easier and safer to harvest.

After the mature leaves are cut, they are sun-dried for three days until the desired moisture levels are reached. There is no need for any oven or any kind of additional energy, such as gas, in this process. Once processed, the organic raw material is obtained with the patented formula, Desserto.
